Boiler Improvements Result in the Super Boiler

Chemical Engineers often work with boilers, but how many of us have heard of the
Super Boiler?
In cooperation with the Department of Energy and other partners, Cleaver Brooks
is developing a new industrial gas-fired “Super Boiler” steam-generation System
with the potential to save the U.S. industry more than $5 billion annually in
steam-production costs.
The advanced design of the Super Boiler provides increased efficiency, reduced
emissions, and lower fuel costs when compared with conventional technology.
Mr. Fondren Rigsby of Cleaver Brooks and Mr. Graham Hobbs of C&C Boiler will
deliver a presentation to our Section explaining the Super Boiler and other
recent advances in boiler efficiency and technology. See you there!
